Tassone’s History

Established in 1991 by John and his father Sam, Tassone’s Wine Garden stands as a cherished Italian-American restaurant in Baldwinsville, New York. Sam, a culinary virtuoso with a fervent love for baking, also left his mark as a revered music industry promoter, boasting associations with luminaries such as Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Chubby Checker, Smokin' Joe Frazier, and the legendary Sarah Vaughan. Sam's endearing legacy lives on not only through the restaurant but also through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who carry his spirit forward with pride and passion. Under John's stewardship and with invaluable partnership and support from his sister Mary, who played a significant role before retiring, Tassone’s continues to thrive. Mary, John, and their father were the trio of their time, shaping the restaurant's identity and reputation. In recent years, the restaurant has further strengthened its foundation with additions to the management team, bringing in new vibes and modern flare. In addition, a refreshing update to the decor has enhanced the dining experience. Despite enduring the trials of the pandemic without government assistance, Tassone’s persevered, emerging stronger than ever. Their unwavering commitment to excellence ensures they remain a cherished fixture in the community's culinary landscape
